Battlestation Deadly Duos

Trader/Blind engineer twink as mentioned in 50-74 BS set ups

Blind engi twinked for evades and blinds creeps along with trader...

Large group of enemy encountered ....area root...area blind (-gazillion aao)....trader picks them off 1 by 1.


Any other deadly combinations out there?

My doctor + anyone :p

Have had a few situations where clan were slacking and me and someone dominated.

My 76 doctor and a 76 trader took down 4 twinks before, and the other week my doctor and a 90 NR agent took down 4/5 of the best clan twinks at the same time.

In all seriousness, 2 of any prof can dominate, 2 enfs can destroy a few people if they attack the same person. Doctor + MP could work well.

I'm sure NT+Trader would be alot more effective. Since NT blinds don't break on hit.

m... i didnt know blinds break on hit :S well the only professions that im aware of that can blind are NT and Engi, but i never tried to use the Engi blind, does it break on hit?

Yep, even if it's just a dmg shield or reflect from a sucessful hit. 100% break chance.

Yep....i was suggesting the engi blinds because they are 600 plus -aad and if one doesnt attack the rest of the enemies, they should be disabled...meaning an easy 2 on 1 situation.

The NT blinds are about 80plus -aad and they do not break....so again a pretty good choice.

Right and wrong. Engi blinds do have more -AAO than NT ones. But remember...this isn't pvm.

The main drawback to the engi blind is if they touch you once, it's gone, until the next wave, due to reflect/shield dmg. Your pet AOE snare also breaks the blind.

And -AAO isn't the most effective part of blinds in PvP. Blinds strong part is confusion. Engi blinds fail at that in most cases. Being able to keep your opponent blinded forever gives you a HUGE advantage because he can't see how many people are on your side, who is the weakest, who he should attack, and how he should go about it. And with the range nt's have, they can do this from as soon as they see the enemy. Nt's also bring along absorbs, HE, nano cost reducers, and root/snare removers. And the ability to cripple evade professions and lower your opponents nanoskills. Did I mention NS?

If you don't use pet auras or reflects, you will be insta splat to almost every twink in BS.

I came up with the same engi/trader duo around a year ago, and once blinded with the engi blind, and possibly drained, if both twinks have decent evades there is no chance of reflect break as none will hit anyway, so keep reflect on, just leave the pet snare off and youre set AC+reflects and coon should work fine to keep you alive with the trader healing against drained/blinded enemies.
