OT Org (aka guilds)

Post by hfamgamer » Tue Jul 25, 2006 8:20 am

Hi all. I'm thinking of joining an OT org/guild any suggestions on player friendly ones? Not looking for PvP more interested in fun, friendly, helpfull people to play AO with. Thanks in advance.

Well, not having too much experience, not been in many orgs, but I've found Insanity-Inc and of course FBI quite nice. And don't forget to join in on AoFroobs chat channel!

If you are Omni you join an org.
If you are Clan you join a guild.
If McDonald's sold hotdogs, could you with a straight face order a McWiener and tell them to supersize it?

As a clan person, I can't say I'm familiar with Omni orgs. I second the motion to follow Titlefiveplus chat for a while to see which Omni players (and their respective orgs) you might want to join up with. Most of them are fine people I'd be pleased to be in their org with.

Be upfront about your lack of enthusiasm for PvP. Some Omni orgs are pretty obsessive about beating on other people, especially clans. If that's not your thing, why join them?

Personally, though, I've always called orgs "orgs", no matter the alignment.

Been playing a few Omni toons lately, have found "Pack of Noobs" to be both active and friendly - it's a very new org. Have met some nice folks from Weiland Yutani here and there.
Jennydoit ("Building in your imagination") Lvl 200 TS'ing Eng
Sleipnirfast ("Think of it as a proactive acquisitions strategy") Lvl 195 Fixer
Tradingup ("Oooh, that shotgun's even BIGGER!") Lvl 180 Trader
Sgtfiery ("Reach out and torch someone") Lvl 173 ICSF Soldier
Cthulhulives ("Not your TOTW Cultist. Ia! Ia! Cthulhu ftaghn") Lvl 153 MP
Bandagebabe ("Fine Pharmaceuticals at unreasonable prices") Lvl 158 Doctor
Stupididea ("Party time! Have a blast.") Lvl 162 Shotgun NT
Notthedroid ("Don't worry, I have your back!" [In my crosshairs]) Lvl 132 Agent
Selar ("Really, I'm just a big pussycat") Lvl 156 melee Advy
Sharpanswer ("Have a heart - I seem to have picked up some extras") Lvl 104 Piercing Enfo
Remfbypref ("Go! Go! Go! I'll assess the situation as soon as I finish my coffee") Lvl 105 Crat
Abbienormal ("No Igor, the OTHER subject!") Lvl 100 Eng (Semi-permanent resident in CoH)
And about 2 dozen more alts waiting for their shot at the big time

I think if you are Omni you join an org, and if you are Clan you join a clan. =P

but, yeah. Orgs are orgs.

Does Newcomer's Alliance have a Rimor branch?
