Special Nukes

Reduce AC's
Lick of the Pest : -5000 Chemical AC for 67s, no damage
Contained Plasma Sphere : -1000 Energy AC for 7s
Izgimmer's Enveloping Flame : -300 Fire AC for 25s, best damage before level 185 when instacasted
Compacted Neutron Missile : -80 Melee AC for 30 s

Reduce Nanoskills
Crown of Frost : -115 all nanoskills for 30s
Coronet of Frost : -90 all nanoskills for 25s
Lesser Coronet of Frost : -60 all nanoskills for 20s

Reduce Evades
Gravitational Anomaly : -200 all evades for 9s
Feeble Gravitational Anomaly: -75 all evades for 20s

Stuns
Electrifying Containment : 25% chance, 5.73s stun-duration
Furious Assault : 40% chance, 2.34s stun-duration
Thunderous Blow: 50% chance, 1.56 stun-duration

Init debuff
Ice Flechette : -6 all inits for 60s; hey I'm just being complete okay :P

Holy Trinity
Resonance Blast : -3000 taunt, best damage ever :P
Candycane : 540 damage of every type, which is nice, but normally doesn't beat RB. Not sure what's the use then, except FUN :P.
Corruption of The Pest : Best damage lvl 185-195

Other
Boil Blood : only AoE DOT, used to keep agg when kiting
Ferocious Impactor Missile : One of my personal favorites, 75% nr check and relative high in damage calculator. No damage calculator takes nr into account so taking that into account could put this one on the top in some situations. Short cast and recharge allow you to go full def and you can react faster on situations (you have to wait less on recharge before casting NSII for example). Downside is that reflects/shielding hurts you more. There appears to be no taunt.
Ol' FaithfulLow MC requirement and low nr check, with relative high damage. Great choice at lower levels or when drained.

Heyas,

Neat list, awesome, EDTA.

... This can be used to detect AC holes on the mobs. In theory you can cast this and see where the AC hole of a mob is and switch to a nuke of that damage then. Additionally, paying NT's have some possibilities to add up tp +350% nano damage. I leave the rest of the calculations to you :D

Other than that: WTB a "Set damage type: [Fire|Chemical|melee|whatever]" item for NT's. Would rock :)

You just read auno description of Candycane didn't you? :P
Anyway AC's can't be detected since min=max damage. Reflects can be detected indeed :). And in pvp against somebody without layers or reflects (gl with that!) it could be nice since it doesn't cap and could theoretically kill in 1 shot (<2150 hp). Anyway, sounds like limited uses for what would be nice nuke otherwise. Merely seems useful when you didn't get your hands on RB yet :P, they should put like lvl 190 lock on candycane instead ;).

Good list.

Considering the min dmgs of ief and pest nanos, froob nano inits and weapons
I would not be sure that with pest you have the best overall dmg in the lvl range 185-195.

Corruption of the pest 9/3, IEF 7/4.8

As a froob nt you can have something like 1700 nanoinit (could be wrong here, just remembering what my nt had some years ago)

Which means with 0/0 aggdef settings that IEF -> instacast, -> 4.8 recharge, Pest casting takes roughly 1.87 s + recharge 3 s -> total 4.87s

Now let's say you also have some weapon with 1/1 and ~400 average dmg. In 4.8 recharge you can shoot 2 times -> +800 dmg, in 3s recharge you can shoot in average 1.5 times -> 600 dmg (these amounts can be higher if you are dual wielding something). These can also be something else if you/team have dmg bonus.

Let's assume nano dmg bonus of 6%

IEF MIN (2249 x 1.06) + weapon (800) = 3184
Pest MIN (2270 x 1.06) + weapon (600) = 3006

-> If you are fighting someone against whom you tend to do min nano dmg IEF could still be the better option dmg wise
and as an additional positive thing you have more freedom with IEF. Also IEF has slightly lower nr check.

You are probably right that in some situations IEF is better then Pest.
A few notes though:
* You need more then 25000 AC to have the CoTP hit for min damage, I think that's quite on the high scale, even for Rubi-Ka bosses
* Even then about 1450 inits is enough to make CoTP do more damage then IEF, only taking nuke damage into account. At least that's what this hypothetical situation suggests.

When you take weapon damage into account it gets more complex and it could shift the damage to IEF. I didn't really figure out how to synchronize weapon and nukes best: the problem is that when the weapon is loading the "attack" and you cast a nuke then the "loading attack" cancels; so 1,5 hits might not be possible... Also a weapon might be slower then 1+1: it seems to be that a weapon *prepares for attack*(1s) - waits a bit (unknown time) - recharge (1s).
Anyway: my conclusion is: it depends on your weapon, but just taking the nuke into account CoTP normally does most damage.

The minute diffrence in dmg doesnt make up for the higher nano cost imo

Late reply, but I just reread this topic (looking for a nuke ;))...
The hypothetical situation I posted is one on the edge: at this AC and nano init Cotp and IEF do about the same damage. The more nano init and the less AC the target has, the better damage COTP does.

Bit of necro. Sorry about that, but in doing "Criminal Hideout" daily missions, I realized that all the criminal mobs are fixers and behave as if wearing grid armor.

As a result, the Grid Armor nuke line (see: http://auno.org/ao/db.php?cmd=search&na ... =gridspace) becomes one of the top DPS nukes (and lowest nano cost) if your target is a fixer mob or player (wearing grid armor, of course), rivaling LE doubles and triples for damage.

With RB, I could only kill level 180ish criminals for this daily mission before they meeped. With Partial Gridspace Inversion, I can easily kill criminals up to about level 200 before they meep, so there is a noticeable difference. PGI is instacast while RB still has some cast time with 1300 nano init.

Since this is a sticky, I hope this isn't considered a necro, but I'd like to give this nuke a mention: http://auno.org/ao/db.php?id=45205

It is a bit slow to cast, but it has a huge minimum and only checks 60% NR.
Twinks:

Payments - 76 PvP Focused Trader - [Setup]
Temples - 60 ToTW Twink, Solo Aztur without hiding - [Setup]
Nubstick - 25 Half-arsed Nanomage NR Enfo - [Setup]

Non-Twinks:

Hattyssold - 200 Atrox Soldier - [Setup]
Ulovemyheals - 200 Nanomage Doctor - [Setup]

Froob powah!

Yeah, that one is pretty awesome :). I've killed traders with it on occasion when I was fully drained :p. Really gimp traders. Added it to OP.
