AI social clothing

Hey kiddies, I'm back from another long break, in ur Anarchy polluting ur chatz. Anyway, I can confirm that today's patch has made AI social clothes froob friendly, I am in fact wearing a Lab Cloak of Ragnarok as we speak. The tradeskill operation and buying the fashion kits themselves are not froob...

Re: Dyna bosses and team mission bosses

It drops off regular mobs in Foremans too--basically its 'common loot' with an incredibly low droprate.

Re: Atrox Doctor -- Weapons???

2he definitely has more options for froobs, but pistols are also perfectly viable. Assuming whether you have access to buffing pistols is not an issue, I'd say go with whichever suits your style more.

Re: Thinking about making a froob engi (ep dispenser)

Lets also not forget that agents are much, much harder to level than engineers if you dont have access to hecknoobing, and the alt in question would be froob.

Re: Thinking about making a froob engi (ep dispenser)

Wild a** guess I'd say 110-120 range. Which isnt that hard to get if you put your mind to it, even with minor nanoskills boosts you should be able to run a pet capable of killing red mobs all the time.

Re: Dyna bosses and team mission bosses

AFAIK theyre two different mob types but share some of the more common bossloot items like armor and nanos.

Re: Questions about AI and LE

For what its worth I didn't bother with imps for the longest time simply becuase I was lazy, and generally only fit the highest QL I can find in shop or mission cause I'm lazy and dont care. But theres a big difference between someone who lacks the extra 20% cause of apathy and, say, a soldier who b...

Re: Ape Fist Section 4 drop rate

AFAIK all the books can drop randomly from any mob in temple, but some are slightly more likely to drop. I do agree with the general consensus though, if its not a level locked character the temple books are probably not worth the effort. Ditto for DM/GCB now since steps has something comparable...w...

Re: Money Spam in AO?!?!?!?!?!

Problem is whenever an ARK bans them, they can just make a new account and be back to business. All MMOs with any sort of free option (e.g. trial accounts) have this problem, unfortunately it kind of goes with the territory and there arent many good ways of dealing with it that dont risk turning awa...

Re: Is this doc a lost cause?

But the question remains, whether its worth bothering with. The character in question is level 46, the dudes main is 66 so if she can get back into your team range you could get her like 10+ levels in 1 day, and at TL3 which gives alot more IP per. Ergo I say just power through it and dont bother wi...

Re: Which item (icon) fits each profession best?

I'd say just use a nanocrystal, since that's what they do. Barring that, Kels is probably the best choice even if its smaller than the others.

Oh, well thats proper useless then. Someone tell Means to bring AO into modern times with some external image/html support, its becoming pretty standard practice to have at least some external support.

Re: Which item (icon) fits each profession best?

Depends on how fancy the client's onboard scripting and content-fetching stuff is, I havent messed with it myself. But if it lets you embed image URLs, it wouldnt be hard provided the images were hosted somewhere with decent bandwidth.

Re: Which item (icon) fits each profession best?

Also, does it have to be ingame icons? I'm kinda bored today, and could possibly whip up some 48x48 monochrome icons illustrating what the class does.

Re: Which item (icon) fits each profession best?

My recommendations, CBA to link images but should be ez enough to find them: Adv: JCSP, Jobe pistol, or SOLFire. Pewpew. Agent: Rifle. Its a ranger class, defined by how big the gun is. Crat: The suit, obvious raesons Doc: Either treatment kit, stim, or one of the first-aid-looking perks. Us clanner...
